What was our goal?
East-to-West Unhindered Life Project: “Unhindered Life from East to West” project is implemented in 8 provinces along the TANAP Natural Gas Pipeline route in cooperation with the “Ministry of National Education” by SERÇEV, which is funded within the scope of The Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP Project) Social and Environmental Investment Programs. Within the scope of the project, a total of eight (8) schools in each province in Kars, Erzurum, Sivas, Yozgat, Ankara, Eskisehir, Bursa and Edirne provinces are refurbished and made physically accessible, and at least one (1) integration, one (1) special education class is opened, special educational materials, tables and chairs are taken and equipped, it is aimed to build the parent waiting room, to build support training rooms, to build an unobstructed playground in the school garden. It is aimed to provide seminars to physiotherapists, special education teachers and families about the developmental processes of children with cerebral palsy.
What have we accomplished?
Schools in Kars, Erzurum, Sivas, Yozgat, Ankara, Eskişehir, Bursa and Edirne (8) were renovated and made physically accessible.
Within the scope of the project, a total of 186 wheelchairs and 66 walkers were provided to children with Cerebral Palsy in need in 8 provinces.
